In my class, 5th grade learners will discover and explore various standards of learning in both Social studies and Science. We will learn how to approach, evaluate, and experiment with given situations using the scientific method. There will be hands on project based assessments that will provide hands on experience for the students to show their peers what they have learned while demonstrating their knowledge on that subject. I will also be cross-threading the Math, Reading, and Writing Curriculums through my class in a constant effort to produce real life situations for our core subjects. I look forward to work with all of the 5th grade students, and parents as well as I see us as the three corners of the student success triangle.
I am an Arizona native; hailing from Payson, Arizona. I received my Bachelors Degree from A.S.U. in Broadcasting. After a 4 year stint in Los Angeles, California working on film sets I came home to start my career in Education. I love what I do, and feel that I am helping to cultivate our most important of all natural resources: Our children's foundational education!
I have had the distinction of working in the Gilbert Public School District since 2007.
