My class consists of several students who need specialized instruction to work on reading, math, and writing deficits in order to "catch up" academically to peers. Every student is bright and capable, but something exists to keep them from achieving academic standards. What we specifically work on are those individualized needs.
I am an Eastern Washington State native who grew up in an agricultural community. I attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a degree in Special Education. In 1996, my family moved to Gilbert where I have taught at Settler's since the school opened and also got a Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University. I am and always will be a diehard Seattle Seahawk fan and an Arizona Rattlers Arena Football fan. Guess you can't guess my favorite sport?
